The sunlight surgery is served independently and professionally by a lady doctor.

The surgery has a Practice Nurse and several Receptionists, who will be able to act as a link between you and the Doctor. They can advise you on any form filling and other non medical matters.

A District Nurse, Community Midwife and a Health Visitor are attached to the practice.

Emergencies
If you need a Doctor in an emergency when the Surgery is closed, please telephone 644 6366. A recorded message will advise you of the telephone number of the Doctor on call. Please listen to the whole message.
Home Visits

On average, seeing you at home takes four times longer than seeing you in the Surgery. Please only request a house visit if you are too ill to come to the surgery. Most night visits will be carried out by a deputising service which is provided by your doctor. Telephone your request before 10.00am (except in an emergency). This enables the Doctor to plan her rounds. IS YOUR HOUSE CLEARLY NUMBERED AND EASY TO FIND.
Repeat Prescriptions

Please give at least 24 hours notice for a repeat prescription. Before you need more medication bring your tear off portion of your last prescription or your card to reception. It will be reasy for collection the following working day. If you require your prescription posting to you, then please supply a S.A.E.

In order to eliminate any errors telephone requests for repeats are not accepted.

Collection times are between 11.00am - 1.00pm and 4.00pm - 6.00pm.
New Patients

All new patients will be invited to attend for a health check after registering.

Telephone advice
