of the Strategy |

In February 2001,
Wirral Ethnic Health Advisory Group (WEHAG) agreed to go forward
with the development of a Strategy following review of the Liverpool
NHS Action Plan 2001-2002 |

|
|
1st meeting held on
June 1st with nominated representatives from all Healthcare Organisations
on Wirral, Professor Chan presented an overview of Ethnic Health
with national, regional & local perspectives & group work took place
around statement of intent & possible strategic objectives |
| |
|
|
A further six meetings
took place which involved the group in preparation & agreement upon
Standards of Care & Monitoring Arrangements which underpinned the
strategy |
| |
|
|
Following the January 02 meeting
the strategy was duly signed by the partner organisations prior
to the launch on March 22nd |
