Chaplains and lay visitors come to the wards regularly. They are available to patients, visitors and staff and offer everyone:
Chaplains are part of the hospital staff, and care about the welfare of everyone in the Hospital, whether of any religion or none. They meet everyone where they are, openly, without prejudice and regardless of their beliefs. The Chaplains have time to spend with people who are anxious or who would appreciate support. Anything you say to them is treated with strict confidence. They can be contacted
through the ward staff or the desk at the Oncology Centre entrance. |
