Diagnostic Imaging

CCO has its own well-equipped Imaging department. It comprises :

• X-ray
• Ultrasound
• Computed Tomography (CT)
• Nuclear Medicine
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Patients may need to visit one or several of these departments before or during their treatment.

Each imaging machine is able to give different information about the stage of your disease, how well the treatment is working or if you will need more treatment.

The radiographers and doctors specialise in providing specialist cancer imaging services. The waiting times for appointments are short and some services are provided on the same day as the request is made. The results are sent directly to your CCO Consultant.
