Wirral Hospital Trust has a policy group that exists to review and validate corporate policies before they are put into use by the Trust. This group meets bi-monthly and membership includes a senior manager representative from each directorate.

This group is directly responsible for overseeing the development and review of new policies and ensuring that existing policies are kept up to date. Trust policies and procedures are divided into four main categories, Operational Policies, Human Resources Policies, Risk Management and Infection Control Policies and Clinical Governance Standards. Some of these policies are listed below and the most up to date copy of each policy / standard that is available can be obtained from the contact personnel below.
