Welcome to the Wirral Electronic Health Record website.

Introduction
The NHS is using new technology to help deliver better patient care. The NHS organisations in Wirral have developed a secure Electronic health Record (EHR) as a way of storing your medical information electronically. It can only be accessed by doctors and health care professionals involved in your care.

The EHR is a computerised patient information system, which brings together information from Wirral GP surgeries, Wirral Hospital Trust (including Arrowe Park Hospital) and Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology. Only those health professionals who are dealing directly with your care will access it. The system aims to improve communication between organisations, to reduce administration and to provide doctors and other health professionals with more information about you so that they can improve your treatment.
