| The Wirral Alcohol
Service is an information and support service based in the
centre of Birkenhead. |

| The service provides
confidential quality support to anyone, irrespective of age
or sex, whose life is affected by alcohol. Your GP can refer
you to the service or you may refer yourself by using our
drop-in facility. There is no need to make an appointment.

The service's friendly team of
staff, including two clinical specialists, understand the
problems and distress that can be caused by alcohol. Their
extensive training and experience means they
can offer advice and information, or just a listening ear.

| Health promotion / education and
training is available to individuals and staff groups, to
raise awareness of alcohol use and misuse. |
