Wirral Alcohol Service
 
The Wirral Alcohol Service is an information and support service based in the centre of Birkenhead.
 
The service provides confidential quality support to anyone, irrespective of age or sex, whose life is affected by alcohol. Your GP can refer you to the service or you may refer yourself by using our drop-in facility. There is no need to make an appointment.
 
Clinical Specialist   The service's friendly team of staff, including two clinical specialists, understand the problems and distress that can be caused by alcohol. Their extensive training and experience means they
can offer advice and information, or just a listening ear.

Health promotion / education and training is available to individuals and staff groups, to raise awareness of alcohol use and misuse.

We will provide a community based, quality service, accessable to anyone
whose lives are affected by alcohol.
 
We will offer information, advice and support. We will respond appropriately
to individual's needs and offer a friendly and supportive service.
 
The team has a wide range of appropriate skills necessary to provide
a comprehensive alcohol service.
