| You may be referred to the detox team
if you are: |

- Motivated to become
drug free and
- on 40mg or less of
prescribed methadone daily
- and stable on your
prescription and
- able to provide a
clean urine sample
- and not using alcohol
excessively.

| Methods of detox: |

- Methadone reduction, in your own environment
with detox team support.
- Britlofex Detox -takes approximately 10 days, with daily
visits from the detox team and appointments at the drug
service. You have the choice to do this at home or in
a small residential unit for up to 21 days.
- Rehab -the Detox team may also be able to help you
to arrange a place in rehab and let you know how to apply
for funding through your local authority.
