Our Young Persons Worker offers an early intervention for young people who, while misusing drugs, have not become entrenched in a drug using lifestyle. The service offers access to specific and more intensive interventions. This service offers young people an alternative to the main drug service. It aims to help young people abstain from drug misuse before the become entrenched in the drug scene.

The Young Persons Worker works in partnership with a number of agencies working with young people in the area - hostels for the homeless, Youth Service, Calypso, Outreach workers, Social Services, Youth Justice, education and the families of young people.

There is no waiting list and access is immediate.
