These services
are mainly aimed at dependent heroin users, although
some prescribing for other drugs may be available. Prescribing
is aimed at providing assistance to those wishing to
stabilise their drug use or stop taking drugs. GP's
provide the treatment through the Community Drug Team
and shared-care arrangements. The Doctors runs a strict
appointment only surgery in the service, which is accessed,
via your keyworker. |

Nurse who can provide:- |

- Advice on blood borne viruses and testing
- Injecting advice
- Hepatitis B vaccination, safer injecting advice
- Sexual health advice
- HIV and Hepatitis B and C testing, including pre and
post test information. This service is confidential and
anonymous.
