Recruitment Criteria 

Registered Nurses must have:

1. Current Nursing & Midwifery Council registration
2. Recent nursing experience - / return to nursing course
3. Community experience is not essential as training will be given
4. Permanent staff are required to be up to date with mandatory training

Nursing Auxiliaries Criteria - 3 & 4 apply

The recruitment process involves

  • Shortlisting of applicants - references will be sent for prior to interview
  • Interview
  • Medical and Criminal Records Bureau Check for successful applicants
  • Induction - all new staff registered with the bank must attend the paid full day induction
  • Local documentation takes place at Port Causeway
  • Shadowing of 2 half day sessions paid, if further shadowing is required this will be unpaid
  • Bank staff will need to be available for a minimum of one shift per week.
