Dr Lacy is our
Consultant responsible for the care of children with Cystic Fibrosis. In clinic
Ward 12 Manager Karen Couchman assists Dr Lacy. Ward 12 is the ward for all children with cystic
fibrosis.
A paediatric physiotherapist
and Rachel Lindsay, a paediatric dietician, also attend the clinics.
Community Physiotherapists
take cough swabs from the children attending a clinic 7 to 10 days before that
clinic so that current results are available on the day.
