Hughes hold our specialist Baby Clinics.
These clinics have
been set up to monitor pre-term babies with problems associated with being born
pre-term.
The babies are
monitored up until they are one year old. Providing their progress is satisfactory
they will be discharged, however if the Consultants have any concern they will
continue monitoring.
Other members of
our multidisciplinary team such as physiotherapists and occupational therapists
will also attend the clinics if it is felt that their input will benefit a child.
